At The Retreat we are very involved with weddings.
In our spectacular private garden we create a magical atmosphere.
There will be music playing throughout the garden, the sound of
water trickling whilst incense floats in the air.
We serve gourmet finger food for your wedding reception in
the back courtyard and garden at the conclusion of your photos
or in the air conditioned gallery if the weather is not so favourable.
Your wedding ceremony can be performed in the garden
(by your celebrant) with up to 40 guests
(sorry - no children are permitted).
NB: We are limited to 40 people outside or 30 people inside -
if a seated indoor function is required.
We supply the following:-
All wait staff and kitchen staff for the food service.
All glass wear required.
Ice buckets filled with ice and Urns for drinks.
Water jugs.
Use of the garden or house for photographs of the wedding party
before and after the ceremony.

Please let us know what soft drinks you require and we will arrange
for them and charge accordingly.
We do not supply any alcohol.
# BYO drinks with a $5 per head corkage.

We require all 5 guest rooms to be booked by you for the function night with a
reduced flat rate cost of $195 each, per room, per night. Each room sleeps 2 people.
The “Henderson Room” can be made up as a twin if required - for an additional cost.
The tariff includes a sumptuous breakfast for house guests.
If you will need the house or garden prior to our 3 pm check in time
we will also require all 5 rooms to be booked for the night before your event.

As a pricing guide the cost per head for your wedding at The Retreat
for 25 and up to 40 people is from $65 per head.
Price is for a selection of 12 finger foods from our menu list plus
a fruit and cheese platter, tea or coffee to finish.
For a banquet style sit down meal after some finger food in the garden
with between 10 and 30 guests costings start at $100 per head.

Our underwater world spa room turns into a great “dance” party room
if you would like. Complete with disco ball and glow in the dark walls
with black lights. This is available up until 10.30 pm at night due to
noise restrictions.

We are very flexible so please discuss anything you would particularly
like and we will see what we can do to accommodate you.
